The Devils – It is primitive, loud, wild, sexy, rock’n’roll music and it is full of sin.

The Devils formed in Naples, Italy, in 2015. Their first two albums “Sin, You Sinners!” (2016) and Iron Butt” (2017) — were produced by Jim Diamond (The White Stripes, The Sonics) and released via Voodoo Rhythm Records. Since then, they’ve toured relentlessly, playing over 600 shows across Europe, the UK, and Canada.

Erika Switchblade punishes the drums. Gianni Blacula r*pes the guitar. Together, they embody the pure, chaotic and primitive energy of rock’n’roll. Loud, wild, and undeniably sexy, The Devils are a sinful celebration of raw music. Their name is a tribute to KenRussell’s legendary 1971 film “The Devils”.

Their third album, “Beast Must Regret Nothing” (2021), was produced by Alain Johannes (QOTSA, Them Crooked Vultures, PJ Harvey, Chris Cornell) and features Mark Lanegan on the track Devil Whistle Don’t Sing.

The fourth studio album, Let The World Burn Down (2024), was released by Italian label Go Down Records. Once again, Alain Johannes contributed — mixing, mastering, and playing a guitar solo on Horror and Desire. In 2023, the same label also released the band’s first official live album, “Live at Maximum Festival”.

The Devils are Gianni Blacula (Guitar) and Erika Switchblade (Drums/Vocals). Formed in 2015, they took their name from Ken Russell’s legendary 1971 film “The Devils.” The energy this duo radiates could easily power a four-piece band.

In 2025, The Devils celebrate 10 years of chaos and noise with their fifth album, “Devil’s Got It” a fiery collection of blues and soul covers, mixed and mastered once again by Johannes and released by the iconic American label Cleopatra Records.

They’ve shared the stage with legends like The Sonics, Jon Spencer, Mudhoney, GBH and more. Festival highlights include Azkena Rock Festival, Helldorado, and others across Europe.
